Chad is the kind of camel who has never once stopped to wonder what anyone thinks of him. He threw on his blue shades, brought the attitude, and showed up exactly as himself.

Inspired by my daughter, Amy, Chad came to life during one of our silly animal-painting adventures. Amy picks the animal, and I get the very important job of turning it into the most colorful, ridiculous, personality-filled character that I can imagine.

His bold colors and carefree expression were inspired by watching Amy dance, sing, laugh, and exist completely unapologetically as herself. Somewhere between her imagination and mine, Chad appeared.

He's colorful. He's confident. He's a little ridiculous. And he's a reminder that sometimes the best thing you can be is completely, wonderfully yourself.
