Kiss The Sky came from one of those rare moments when everything just felt light.
I was in a particularly good mood when I painted this - feeling airy, playful, and a little bit magical. I wasn't trying to communicate anything heavy or complicated. I simply wanted to follow that feeling and let it spill into the canvas.
The loose flowers, bright greens, unexpected oranges, soft purples, and open sky all grew out of that sense of freedom. The Flowers reach upward almost as if they're stretching beyond themselves, trying to touch something just out of reach.
So much of my art is connected to emotion, and Kiss The Sky captures the other side of that - the days when being alive feels colorful, hopeful, and wonderfully uncomplicated.
Sometimes you don't need to understand the magic. You just have to reach up and kiss the sky.
